Monday Beauty Tips: Tree Tips To Make Your Beauty Routine Quicker
Some of us spend longer getting ready to go than we do at the place we're going to. The road to perfection is paved with the hours of time we spend preparing ourselves to walk down it. If you ever want to eat, or sleep, or get somewhere on time, once in a while some necessary sacrifices have to be made to streamline our process. If you play your cards right, those sacrifices can go more into time management and less into how you look. There's a few simple things you can do to keep yourself looking good and get you out the door on time without having to settle for less with your appearance.
Eyebrows have a huge effect on your overall appearance. Even with the lightest amount of makeup, a groomed and tidy brow can carry you very far. Keeping your brows neat and well maintained is often seen as a huge chore. If you get your brows waxed or threaded, you may have to deal with that awkward in between stage while you're waiting for your next appointment. If you do your eyebrows at home, you may find yourself toying with them every other day. The best way to keep everything neat and tidy in the smallest amount of time is to use an eyebrow razor. If you've never seen these, they're small razors on a long plastic handle. They're fairly inexpensive, and you can pick them up at any drug store. Carefully running the brow razor along any new growth takes much less time than trying to pluck or thread these little hairs individually.
Another tool that's easy to use that makes a huge difference is the eyelash curler. While that seems like it should be common sense, a lot of people really overlook the eyelash curler for the valuable thing that it is. Using a lash curler really maximizes the potential of any mascara. Lifting the lashes causes the general appearance to the eye to change dramatically. Curled lashes make the eye look more open and awake, and also gives the appearance of more bountiful and lengthy lashes. With the focus on your lashes, you won't feel pressured to spend so much time on your eyeshadow.
For those of us whose hair is the bane of our existence, there are also many otions there. If you don't think you'll have enough time to curl your hair the next morning, try prepping in the night before. The easiest way to boost the body and volume of your hair is to part it into four even sections, and braid it tightly. Spritz your hair with a mixture of water and leave-in conditioner. When you wake up in the morning, all you have to do is take the braids out and run through it with a wide toothed comb. If you're worried your hair will fall, lock it in with a styling spray. You'll have instant body without heat damage, and you've saved yourself a ton of time. Set the alarm clock for half an hour later and enjoy your extra sleep.
